I think a lot of people don't know who Stephen Colbert really is, and they're going to find out. 'their biggest mistake was leaving me alive'

"There are three things all wise men fear: the sea in storm, a night with no moon, and the anger of a gentle man."
Whose quote is that? His?
They have so fucked up by not putting him on gardening leave Licence to take a swing at anyone and everyone he wants
He quit political work be he felt burned out being angry all the time. This is a bit like the cia going after a retired Clint Eastwood character to clean up lose ends in a movie
"... whose car is this" John Legazona in John Wick
WHOSE CAR IS THIS?
They definitely seem to forget that this is the guy who went to the White House Correspondents' Dinner and called George W. an idiot to his face.
That was astonishing to see happen after years of Bush doing his shit
Loving the synchronicity between this and Jon Stewart on The Daily Show last night too. :) Time to bring in the Jimmy’s as well.
Glad to hear that. I've been thinking Trump took his victory lap way prematurely, as usual.
Colbert walks the walk as a Catholic. He actually thinks and cares deeply about his beliefs too. Lastly, he has F-You $$$….a dangerous combo for a truly righteous person like Colbert.
The Colbert Report remains for me one of the most astonishing pieces of satire ever. It lasted years, he was so committed to the bit people were never entirely sure if he was serious, & he said so many necessary things it was incredible. A man who can do that is not a man to be fucked with like this
