It will be hard, I wish they would mail them to us, I have had to make this trip a dozen times before, its always sad I cry all the way home. They said a week for a special cremation so late this week or early next I guess. Now they are all back together and we are alone for the first time in 20 yrs

We picked our ashes up at the vets but then it was in town so not so bad. I had to pick up my SIL’s ashes. I sat her in the passenger seat and talked to her all the way home. Will Jim go with you to pick up Rikki’s ashes?
I do not know if he will go, he is handling this with anger mostly at me. Its always something.

You have done nothing wrong. Sadly there was probably nothing that could have been done for Rikki. Even if the vet had done a better exam when you had him see Rikki, it sounds like the Mass was too big to do anything. You did the kindest thing for Rikki. 1/2
