Mail-in voting has a paper trail, signature verification, and traceability. The only downfall we've ever had here in WA is MAGAts stealing ballots out of mailboxes.

Mail-in voting also has voters who will raise hell if they are accused of voting twice because a ballot was already counted with their name.

Clerical errors do occur. But these (even politicians) who have homes in two states and vote both.

The main means of cheating with mail in voting - and you'd think Republicans would love it because of this - is that someone (like maybe a husband) can stand over the person (his wife, perhaps) while they fill in the voting paper, making sure that they vote for the "correct" candidate.

Which is exactly why Trump wants it. Plus, poor people can't take off work to vote, so you end up with fewer of them voting. If NOTHING else, move polling day to Saturday.
