I have no interest in punishing very online leftists. My only goal is to assemble enough voters to defeat the fascists. That is my only goal. No purity tests. Whoever rises up to the nomination I will support. Don’t care about anything except defeating fascism.

If you'll call any criticism right-wing talking points and any discussion of how his policies have harmed people a trap, then you're not fighting Trump, you just want his same cult in your team colors. You could have brought up Pritzker, but you jumped to smear any concerns as coming from the right

I’m all for Pritzker. I’d take him in a heart beat over Newsom. The original poster brought up newsom. And I’m just hear saying I won’t fall for right-wing talking points tearing down the Dem nominee. We cannot rely on the hard left in this country. They attacked our candidate and did real harm.

Trump *can't run again*, and if you believe the courts will change that law then why aren't you pushing for Obama? Dems tried "we're not as bad as the other guy". It's failed 2/3 times. You want to chance those odds? Find someone willing to fight in solidarity with the outcasts, or it falls apart.

Similar to how Biden managed to win in large part due to Trump's terrible handling of Covid, there is likely to be a backlash against Trump. Your best idea is to manifest a candidate who pushed Silicon Valley into political power and agrees with right wingers on social issues rather than a Mamdani.
