That is heartbreaking? Have they gone to the media? I feel like these are the stories that mainstream media would flock to, and that we need to be hearing and seeing every day

They could go to a Town Hall if any of our elected officials ever held one. But there are so many ppl like this. Hell my MIL has about run through her 401k, without any major tragedy. It just wasn't that much. She still gets her husband's pension, or she'd be in bad shape.

My devoutly Catholic great aunt and uncle got a divorce so she could get Medicaid to help with long term care. They've both passed, but I was thinking of them when the talk of Medicaid cuts started.
