Passing ammo to those on the barricades, one guesses…

I was so clueless I applied for like 30 jobs before somebody told me I should not have a full page for service.

Or when I was recruited to run for the executive committee in an uncontested election that I somehow still lost. I'll stop now.

Or when I was the program director for my professional conference -- as a grad student because none of the faculty would do it. Or later when I when I did it again on behalf of a university that had already eliminated my position.

The second one was the worst. I had already moved away when my job ended in December and then had to fly back in May at my own expense for the conference. But I did draw an X over the name of the university (which I will not name)on my name tag.

It was Minnesota. Now I really stop.
