If someone told me 20 years ago, during W’s second term, we would be this close to another world war now, I would have believed that the US would be leading the charge, sure, but nothing would have convinced me it would be head-first towards fascism - not even the nonexistent WMDs.
Yes, we have to face the fact that the way things are right now, our country will be on the wrong side of World War 3, and we need to decide what we’re going to do about that.
True. Not sure Americans will do anything until it’s at their door…and by ‘it’ I mean literal bloodshed. That or they try to take away the guns. So maybe 4-6 months? It’s still unclear if we’re smart enough to defend against this going forward tho. Rn it seems doubtful at best.
