I'm still unsure if we need a reboot. Shouldn't we wait like 25-30 years for a reboot? The only thing I think we needed more of was the Malfoy and Black family. And maybe more on Tom Riddle, but that would fit more with a prequel.

Given how slow and expensive new seasons of fantasy shows are to produced these days - and the fact that they are planning to do 7 season, unless this show exceeds Game of Thrones level cultural impact, I give it 3 seasons before they pull the plug.

You make a good point, but even if a show is geared towards a particular audience, it doesn't necessarily mean it will stay that way. Just look at MLP for a perfect example. Target audience was young children, especially girls, and there was an enormous outpouring of adult fans both male and female
