Yes candidates need to be vetted and investigated . We deserve honorable honest capable people . We ve probably all had criminal backround checks at one point or another. Such a simple measure could be very effective

Most of his admin probably had their security clearance waived. None of those pardoned should even hold any capacity in the federal work place. Such an insult to those who died to protect our country.
