Just want to mention (again!) what an inspiring athlete Dot McMahan of Hansons Brooks ODP is. In February, 2024 she finished her 5th Olympic Trials Marathon, and last Saturday she won the #Crim10Mile for the 2nd straight year in 55:48. That's 5:35/mi pace for 10 miles for a 48 year-old woman.
been a fan of Dot for years (decade?!) now! I love she's been running since 2nd grade which breaks"burnout" stereotypes but what's funny she's running even faster now than she was TWENTY years ago kinda like Jenny Hitchings and IMHO likely next grand-masters superstar cc @fastwomen.bsky.social
