Logistically, mass deportation is way more complex than this admin has the finances or political capital to accomplish. I fear privately they always have planned that “mass deportation” is a dog whistle for the genocide they’re planning

That has crossed my mind as well. If they can’t afford to detain and deport legally, I have very little confidence in them, that they might just start killing folk. Death marches have happened before. We must be at the very least diligent.

Mass deportation is simply a way to increase profits for privately owned prison facilities. Incarceration has been privatized and large corporations now own and profit from it. They’re happy to charge the government to imprison people whether those people are innocent or not.
