Just for some info. My local Safeway said they would have the new covid vaccine "next month" and the local CVS said "in a couple weeks." So waiting... Unless I can find one at a bigger city that gets them in quicker.

To be fair, i think it's fairly normal for new flu and covid vaccines to come out in September. Less to do with being a small town and more to do with science taking time.

The vaccines are already available. They just need to be shipped to pharmacies. However saw a report last night that CVS is delaying shipments to 16 states until the ACIP meeting recommends them. Nevada is part of that group. CA CVS has appointments in Truckee and Tahoe for the first week of Sept
