And it really needed to be overwhelming too. It's disappointing that 25-30% of the population just doesn't participate. At some point those folks have to participate.

I have had the pleasure of talking to people who just refuse to vote. They would sooner cut off their ears and your tongue than EVER have to think about it. We're talking actual, generational levels of denial that voting does anything. People will actually go to their graves never trying once.

I know and me too. Civic responsibility is toxic to them, but there are surely root causes. Whatever it is, they are the first step to class warfare and it is a war we are losing.

This right here. They will want to participate when it’s too late. Like a dying COVID patient begging for the vaccine.

Yes. Every time I think of 2020 I want to pull my hair out. If nothing else, at least show up for the ones that can't vote. We really need to do better in this country.

Perfect analogy. A doctor friend would tell patients that had COVID and their oxygen levels are dangerously low and they were still in denial COVID was real. They would fight having an oxygen mask on them. Hours later when it was hopeless and they were gasping with minutes left...

Terrifying and sad, if only because the lesson was learned and lost in the last agonizing moments of life. It’s like in 2024, everyone forgot what it was like 2016-2020.

It was. He stole it. She won by a huge margin. Don’t come at me, people. There’s now overwhelming proof.
