Anyway, my confirmation bible verse was 1 Corinthians 13:1 "If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal." ... BECAUSE of all the bullshit shenanigans we were being fed! And it pissed off everyone. My pastor was disappointed.
I love this. It was the verse I chose when I was baptized for growing up basically German Baptist reasons.
