And it's a combat zone of Netenyahu's own making, no less. And make no mistake, Netenyahu is as responsible for Hamas' existence as any Palestinian is.

Hamas was voted into power by the Palestinians in both Gaza and WB, for starters, so get your facts right. No Netanyahu was involved. And to claim "it's a combat zone of Netanyahu's own making" is tantamount to denial of 10/7, and it's *the* red line and the end of this discussion, Jim.

The Israelis, not just Netanyahu, did indeed bet on a split between Fatah and Hamas, simply to avoid facing a united anti-Israel front. After 10/7, it became clear that this was a misguided strategy. It wasn't Israel that created Hamas, nor did it bring it to power. The Arabs of Gaza and WB did it.
