I don’t use TikTok but my friends who do say they’ve already seen changes in the algorithm where they’re not seeing posts from political accounts they DO follow and they are suddenly following accounts with opposing political views that they never chose to follow.

The "TikTok Ban" bad law originally happened because Trump was mad at Those Meddling KPop Kids using it to organize scalping his free rally tickets, and Biden&Dems deciding that the hate-China bandwagon was cool and jumping on. But Trump figured out how to campaign on TikTok so he's not mad.
And yes, him not enforcing it is legally problematic, but much less problematic (because it was originally his law) than most of the other laws he's not enforcing or funding he's withholding, or his abuse of power to attack politically incorrect law firms, universities, and industries.
How long before China is peeking into that account and seeing if they can find some passwords or hints so they can hack our govt?
