Were there any witnesses to him taking the cognitive test? We only have HIS word that he aced it..... And we all know how reliable HIS word is right?

To be fair, pretty much anyone who isn't genuinely cognitively impaired should score full marks in that test, so the chances are strong that he did indeed "ace" it (by his definition), if only because he was more mentally compos mentis back then. But he should really be taking it every year.

The cognitive test he took was the Montreal cognitive test. It’s given to old people to measure the progression of dementia or people with TBIs. His admission of taking it means he’s already been diagnosed with dementia.

My relative had dementia and his neurologist claimed there was no problem because he passed the standardized test. I asked the neurologist to have a 15 minute conversation with him. Afterwards additional testing was conducted. Finally diagnosed.
