I gotta say, though snapewives appear to consist entirely of people I would find profoundly exhausting, a cursory glance over this article does not land on any links to police reports! so they, uh, got that going for them

.....on the other hand the cult with four deaths isn't mentioned on the Methods of Rationality fanlore page either so who knows what I don't know about the Snapewives. (IN FAIRNESS AND TO AVOID ACTUAL LIBEL: the cult with the body count was NOT started by the actual MoR author.)
