The pressure campaign in Texas made more sense. Republicans there, after some substantial protest from their Democratic counterparts, were able to pass redrawn maps that will likely flip five seats in the U.S. House for Republicans. Not two. More here:

I’m not even convinced this would work. In the last redistricting, the GOP put more Dems in the 1st District in order to assure the South Bend district previously held by Democrat Joe Donnelly would be safe Republican.

for sure. the lengths they're going to try to get two seats flipped just shows how desperate they are (or, how bad the polling is for republicans)
