in this case the white guy in Vegas only killed himself, so i think a lot of people are interpreting it more like a particularly flashy act of self-immolation than a terrorist attack but i have no idea if that was intentional on his part, or if we just got lucky on the timing

True it can be seen that way but he intentionally created a life-threatening situation. So I don’t think it’s the whole explanation. His views, and the views of many of these shooters and potential bombers are a *real threat.* ISIS isn’t going to get take over the USA. But these people could!
