I know. same! it's probably quite telling that we put up with before grudgingly, slowly, eventually moving from a shitty, dangerous product. the lock-in inertia is strong!

I have been trying to escape microsoft for maybe 25 years. Unfortunately, I found the easiest option is google docs. Escaping the whole shebang will be more challenging.
