Joe Biden was too old. He has cancer now. The problem is when one side does a reasonable thing it may look like ‘why did we do that?’ when the unreasonable thing happens. However—the answer is not for everyone to be unconcerned about facts. (I do not know if we HAVE an answer but it’s not that.)
Biden was old. And still remembered who Chancellor Kohl was. But frail as he is he still knows how tariffs and vaccines work and that you don't hand the military and security might of the most powerful country on earth over to weekend anchors and shitposters..
Yup. And if Biden were to have died in office in a second term, J.D. Vance wouldn't become POTUS. That was a big, big plus.

Not at all. It was correct for Biden to step aside. He should have stepped aside at Christmas 2022. My point is: Biden's frailty is not the same as Trump's. Trump still talks louder than Biden, but his cognitive faculties are much more reduced, and not just because he was never as sharp as Biden.
YES. And Trump never cared to learn. Biden is no genius but at least he took his role seriously—and of had experience —and in the course of things learned a great deal about how the freaking government and the world works. For some people this is irrelevant, which will aways be incredible to me.
