I went to a Protestant Christian (evangelical) private school and we also said the pledge to the Christian flag. In fact, I thought they made it up because it just seemed so weird that it existed.

The weird part is my dad was super Lutheran, I have no idea how they ended up at that church but they definitely thought public school wasn't going to give me a good education. Private school did give me a great education. Also gave me psychological scars.
