Wow, I haven't heard the Butthole Surfers since the 90's! Oh yes! I constantly get random songs stuck in my head. Sometimes my head will even flip through parts of a few songs in a row.
Sometimes if I get an earworm, it will never go away. It even keeps me up in bed. My trick for when it gets really stuck is to start singing Chumbawumba, Tubthumpin, and that usually works.
Shuffle mode, yup! That's awesome. 😀
My thought process is more auditory. It's like I think about things with words. More like an inner voice. I've talked about this with others in the past who've said it's not like that for them. There's no voice. It's more visual. The flashing pics & videos never came up though. Now I wish it had.
That is very interesting! For me it's both auditory and visual. But way more auditory. The flashing thing doesn't happen often but it's so interesting! The images are very artistic. I wish I was an artist! I'd love to be able to paint or draw the images!
That's so interesting! I've never done that with pictures/videos. Maybe occasionally movie clips. So would you say your thought process is more visual, or auditory?
😂 Yes, shuffle mode! My brain also does the same with images sometimes when I'm trying to sleep. Like a slide show of dozens of random images or "video clips". I've had that my whole life.
I just realized I have ADHD and I always get random songs or commercials popping into my head lol... It's like your brain gets bored and just pulls an old memory out to entertain you 😂
Yup. Commercials too. So many commercial jingles. Love it when this happens while I'm in bed.
