I think the problem is the media wants fascism themselves and have tricked the average American into not recognizing the obvious signs. They normalized him and refuse to ask about Trump's health. CNN is Fox News with better PR and The NY Times is the NY Post for people that can read.

I think the real problem is that trump really does represent the core values of most Americans. I never imagined that I’m actually surrounded by corrupt, immoral sociopaths
If that is the case, then where do us who value democracy and freedom go? If this country is not for us anymore, then we are the ones who should leave right? If this is what the country wants, who are we to say they cannot or should not have it? This is what I grapple with all the time.
I’m at the age where I’m looking for Meaning in my life. For me it’s helping other people less fortunate. What’s happening in America has given me a Meaning for living my life, and that is to do everything I can to defend our democracy. Dying fighting for a noble cause would make my life a success

I wouldn't say most, but definitely a significant amount. Maybe a quarter. Perhaps a third. When this is done, they should be found and court ordered to therapy. Lots of it.
