A great American and a friend, has left us. The daughter of Ann Richards, the great governor of Texas, Cecile Richards was vocal and stalwart advocate for women and abortion rights. May she rest in peace.

I , and all Americans (whether they realize it or not) owe Ms. Richards so much. Her work on behalf of women’s rights was so important, and now with this new administration’s attacks on rights of all sorts, we need someone like her to continue that work. I will miss her advocacy and integrity. RIP.
