First bird of my day: the nestling blackbirds in the nest outside the bedroom window - they are the third brood! Daddy blackbird has now lost his tail feathers and is looking like a well loved teddy bear. #FirstBirdOfMyDay #WhatsYours

The family of 6 blue tits on the feeder
The trees are so dense with Foliage now, we hardly ever see the Wood pigeons but one popped out first thing this morning #Firstbirdofmyday
First bird of my day: A woodpigeon. On the lawn. Again. #FirstBirdOfMyDay
Becoming a regular! 😀
They're everywhere!!😄
A busy sky - Rooks, Swallows & House Martins all at once.
First bird of my day was one of the Bluetit Fledglings. Then a second. First time I've seen them on their own. Still a little bit awkward when it comes to flying about. But I'm sure mom is still probably somewhere nearby #FirstBirdOfMyDay #WhatsYours
Superb male blackbird description. 🖤💛🧸A welcome FBOMD was a female house sparrow, fluttering about a shrub adjacent to the house opposite, deep within the safety of the garden. Lots of chirruping animating the morning but nearly all from under cover.
#FirstBirdOfMyDay a family of Goldfinch on the feeders. The young still looking scruffy but their bright new plumage is developing.
A Jackdaw awakening here with chatter from the trees #firstbirdofmyday
Great Tits on the feeders, Woodpigeon on the roof. Cool and dry here.
#FirstBirdOfMyDay blackbirds and sparrows eating leftover rice. I hope it gives them some energy. They have been working very hard just lately!
#FirstBirdOfMyDay: Mourning dove
Similar vibes here - blackbirds loudly gorging on the ornamental cherries in the back garden.
I was going to post last night my 'Last Bird of my Day', as I was thrilled to see a lone swift darting about between the houses, just before it got completely dark (with a soundtrack of a most melodious blackbird).
A blackbird with a worm protruding from its beak was #FirstBirdOfMyDay
The sparrow gang checking out the grass below the feeders; in amongst them the white wing bars distinguished a lone chaffinch joining their search. #FirstBirdOfMyDay
Wrens singing at various points on another woodchip trip. In the Park, down in the canal cutting and up on the allotments. #FirstBirdofMyDay
A baby starling looking sadly through the window that the bird table was empty
A sparrow just flew by the bedroom on its flight down to the seed feeder, otherwise pretty quiet so far. Another cup of tea might help. #FirstBirdOfMyDay
First bird of my day a Crow calling from the field next door and a Stock Dove in the trees on a calm, cloudy morning.
#Firstbirdofmyday Heard - Sparrow☺️ Saw - Swift 😍
A beautiful morning, the sun shines as we step out; Eric the Wood Pigeon is on the lawn and a male Blackbird, clucking on top of the fence. #firstbirdofmyday
