First bird of my day: a blackbird fledgling (from the mighty 5th brood!) amongst the apples on a crisp sunny morning. #FirstBirdOfMyDay #WhatsYours

Two sparrows reminding me to fill up the bird feeders in the alder tree with a woodpigeon grubbing about in the hedge under the tree. #FirstBirdOfMyDay
Swallows & House Martins above the Magic Tree - which has a dozen species in it, including a different Willow Warbler!
5️⃣TH morning for jackdaws FBOMD. There appeared to be two on the roof opposite from the frontdoor, both on aerials. But, as I walked along, I saw a third stood on the rear brick stack looking upwards at the parent or mate? on the adjacent aerial. 🩶🖤
They have a nice first-bird streak going!
Yeah, don't they just! Reflects my regularity of recent looking out for 1st bird(s) as to time and exiting the frontdoor. With the seasonal shortening of day length I'm seeing jackdaws in their post-roost dispersal period of relaxed time on lots of roofs on the road. 😄
#FirstBirdOfMyDay: a Robin, sitting on a planter, studying the foliage around him intently. Then, whizz, he popped down upon his victim & gobbled it up!

Blackbird and Robin. A fine morning here.
Snap! A young blackbird, brown and watchful, hopping quietly in the garden where he has made his home behind my shed 😊

#FirstBirdOfMyDay: silent crow gliding overhead against the deep blue sky just before sunrise.
Two jackdaws peering over the chimney pots like lords in a castle #FirstBirdOfMyDay
It would, of course, be positively rude for jackdaws to look any other way enjoying their peaceful, resting, morning moments of calm on, and in, chimney pots! 😆🩶🖤
Surely rooks with castles ;-)
🤣 Nice one! I shouldn't tell the jackdaws however as they love being around prominent chimneys chilling out or playing hide & seek games. 😃
An exciting spot through the window during breakfast. For a long period, a warbler was exploring the fennel growing in pots amongst the cosmos on the patio. I am fairly certain it was a Common Reed Warbler, which has previously been picked up by Merlin as possibly in the vicinity. #FirstBirdOfMyDay
Sweet little birds!
You must be knee-deep in blackbirds. Reminded by a long late afternoon peel of herring gull that I heard one briefly before I got up. Then I met a pie bald headed black headed gull whilst walking over the Park. Behaving more like a lanky pigeon than a gull. Belated #FirstBirdofMyDay
Five broods is amazing. we reckon the blackbirds in our garden had four. The fledglings are so lovely. I keep seeing a fledgling robin too.

First bird of my day: Greenfinches at the feeder and a Green Woodpecker calling in the field next door. #Firstbirdofmyday
Five broods!!! Amazing 😻 Here the Wood Pigeon sky commute was the #FirstBirdOfMyDay. An aerial Spaghetti Junction! 😺
Two crimson rosellas swooping and swerving in front of my car as I drove through the forest road this morning. #FirstBirdOfMyDay #WhatsYours
