Thank you M’Lady. I’ve cubed & pickled some of the larger ones to see how they work out. They gave to be crisp!🤞 Yep, last year, slightly undersized courgette one day, enormous marrow the next. Couldn’t grow a courgette plant to save my life this year. 🤷🏼♂️
Isn't it funny how it varies year on year. The best courgette I ever had in my life was grown at Sissinghurst. It was yellow, round and had ridges. Delicious and changed the way I felt about courgettes Oh yes, fingers crossed for a crisp pickle, no one wants a soggy offering
