I think we are saying the same thing. He is not European, so his presence at the WH was not necessary. This is a show of solidarity that he can reasonable make along with a material contribution. Now, if he can do something similar in other parts of the world...

I am not disagreeing. However, he would have served no value at the WH. As the only foreign leader in Ukraine today, he sends a strong and loud message about Canada's role as Ukraine's ally. It is in the nuances. The WH visit got more press coverage, but he does not need that.🇨🇦

PM Carney leads with intelligence, clarity and compassion. It is obvious that he puts careful thought into his work schedule, both within our borders and in other countries. He is the polar opposite of Trump.
