Also, our reliance on GPS. What happens when a huge solar flare wipes it out? And to think- somehow 30 years ago we got by without it.

Other than all of the technology that would stop working, I'd be fine. I still know my way around & how to read maps- I never use GPS. But we'd quickly find out how many people *totally* rely on GPS for their own "spatial awareness."

In 1978 I arrived in Long Beach California from Michigan & as an 18 year old got a job for Sam the Carpet Man & had to drive a Ford F-250 to the carpet mills to pick up rolls of carpet. And I used a MAP BOOK.
