I once read a book (Caesar's Last Breath) where the author did the math on what it would take to atomize bone, and it's actually REALLY high. I think he said at least 200,000 calories of energy or something. Anyway, it was morbidly fascinating.

Yeah, like when they cremate people they usually have to grind the bones up because even cremation ovens aren’t hot enough to turn bones to ashes.
