I think no matter what you’re doing in life, false humility is basically insulting. If you’re good at something, it’s OK to think that you’re good at something.
“Thinking you’re good at something” is a really curious definition of arrogance.
And depending upon its delivery, it can read as inviting correction, or fishing for a compliment.
