I peeked at Twitter and saw that Matt Yglesias is downplaying and at times applauding the military presence in DC. He’s said several times that he personally has seen no troops. He’s happy that the cops (who now have the time) are cracking down on traffic infractions. He’s a liberal, Matt Yglesias.
Weird, though, that Matt hasn’t seen any troops on any of his numerous reporting trips all around the city. Just kidding. He sits all day at his computer writing what are essentially Youtube comments, but which earn him enormous of money from America’s wantwits.
Yeah he is but he’s also made saying stupid, maddening nonsense for hate-clicks central to his (highly lucrative) business model.
