Ours is burned in my brain because the FD gave out bright pink stickers with the number on it. We used to see them on calls all the time. If people dialed it, they would get routed to 911!

CHP statewide. To report a highway accident you either had to exit and find a payphone, or use a call box on the side of the freeway. 😁
