Depends on how indulgent you want your knitting supplies and fiber to be, some profligacy. Could also take an inordinate amount of pride in your work just to push it into the seven sins level of vice. The sloth of lounging around under something you knitted/crocheted.

If I smoked a pipe 6 times a year it would qualify and likely not cause TOO much health concern, wouldn’t contribute significantly to lines around the mouth, would be evil enough to horrify my mother and yeah those are my criteria

There are plenty of vices you can take up that aren’t physically harmful.. Chocolate, Caviar, Porn… 😏

Well yes. But it’s really the aroma of pipe tobacco that I want.

That sounds properly upsetting and often enough you get an appreciation of the nice buzz. Plus, there are some very nice pipes out there. I can imagine spending some for a work of art.
