I never expected that the destruction and end of our democracy would be at the hands of the dumbest people in the country. It’s so depressing

Its not dumb. Its intentional destruction.

This. I was expecting supervillain-level trauma, not a shady real estate developer turned reality TV show host who can’t form a coherent thought getting used by some slimy fringe right-wing policy wonks to con a bunch of old people, incels and religious nuts into voting against their own interests.

It's not bad enough that so many in this country fell in line with fascism, but we didn't even get a handsome, clever dictator. They literally fell for a fat, failed turd of a man-child who can't speak in complete sentences. Honestly, that kills me; the stupidity is almost worse than the evil.

Yea, hurts, doesn't it. There was no heroic fight against insurmountable odds. Just Stupid, turning into FAUX News for two decades and learning how to vote while good people remain seated on their couches on election day.

And why do the dumbbells have the power , the constant assault on public education and the attack on intelligence as just elitism has given the dullards the numbers .
