Sadly it's increasingly becoming likely that the path to regime change in the USA becomes a violent one as the democratic peaceful way is going to be less effective as half the country doesn't care about if our republic form of democracy still stands considering they voted for Christofascism.

General Milley would be the perfect leader for this. Remember his "kings and queens" speech that he gave just before he stepped down? it's time for a movement within the military to help oust an erratic strongman and his henchmen from power!

The problem I see is that there is no precedent in the US for that. In Turkey for example, this would be different. Hence, the military will probably be rather hesitant to take any step in that direction

I agree. They want to stay out of this. That’s why Trump created ICE as his own military who are loyal to him. ICE is less about rounding up illegals and more about being the ones to enforce martial law, cause chaos and protect Trump.

Dems winning the House does nothing when Trump controls everything else. The unknown is if the military will get involved. They like to stay out of these things but they will be forced to pick a side. That’s why the first war will be within the ranks of the military. Then it becomes a blue v red.

All we’ve done is obey in advance. If you think these pathetic protests are actually doing anything you’re living in a fantasy world. America forgot how to resist when it decided complacency and comfort was better for their privileged little lives than stopping the fascism that threatens them.

Some National Guard members need to find the courage to resist. Too often, I see members of color deployed into communities like their own, harassing people who look just like them.

How does that get rid of the 70-80 million Americans who support him? He doesn’t need legitimacy, he has thugs carrying out his will by force. To eliminate the problem, we need to eliminate the enemy. The problem preceded Trump, and it won’t die by itself or when just his administration is gone.

Violence is inevitable when Trump has ALREADY sent OUR military against us. This "pie in the sky" attitude is sweet but ridiculously naive. Protests are absolutely the way until they aren't. There are more of us than them. If you have the ear of anyone in the military, remind them of their oath.
