Ukraine Matters (Georgijs) @ukrainematters.bsky.social

Trump walking away is not the worst outcome. There was always little chance that more pressure will be on russia. But US constantly doing these fake negotiations distracted europe from doing more. Trump walking away, being neutral to Ukraine will give europe the pressure needed to do more.

The Yanks walk away and leave people they supported hanging. They did it to the Kurds and the Afghans. It's a shitty trait they have. But I don't think trump will walk away. He compulsively needs to be the centre of attention and will be back for more. He keeps saying it as a bargaining chip.

But did you have to post the pic? You’re better than that. I know you thought about it and did not go with your instinct . . because who exactly needs to see yet another picture of those evil shits?

Oh but trump won't walk away. He just threatens it to scare Ukraine and Europe. He isn't allowed to walk away from putin as the USA gives terror russia a place on the world stage. russia needs the USA and trump is just putin's bitch

I would argue it's the best outcome.

Exactly. If the US gives nothing, they have no say. Circus Trump is irrelevant and his clowns should run along home.

Im hoping that eventually Trump becomes the boy who cried wolf and everyone just ignores him even if he doesn’t come out and say he’s walking away.

Best case outcome right now is that the 🇺🇸 buggers off and keeps all sanctions in place. Atleast it would force 🇪🇺 to step up and stop hiding behind the 🇺🇸. No more hiding, time to go all in. The Trump passing away part will not improve the situation, Vance is arguably even worse.

That was I about to say. Trump should have let Europe take the leading role on forehand. Then it wouldn’t have been such a debacle as it is now with Trump

but trumps neutrality is about making business with both sides, this means less sanctions on russia which makes Europe to have harder time to get russia to give up.

Putin stalling for time just delays the inevitable Russian collapse. Russia's got one more failed offensive in it before their military collapses. And that's assuming Russia's economy doesn't collapse first.

The deal with the devil Western politicians made is that somehow a Russian collapse is worse than a Ukranian one and must be avoided. It has been the source of the biggest strategic fuckup since Gallipoli.

I agree that the West falsely fears the collapse of Russia but we're headed to that end regardless. We're just taking a longer route but arriving at the same destination. They can't keep this shit up. It has one more failed offensive in it then its combat power is done. Collapse is all that's left.

I agree. I'm not sure about the military side, Ukraine also needs the strength for a counteroffensive. But from an economics standpoint, which I do understand, they are running on fumes. If Russia can't end the war this year they are heading for a financial collapse 100%.

The US usefulness is now limited to intelligence and arm/ammo purchase accessibility. Trump has made himself pretty irrelevant, he has become a distraction that encourages Europeans to do less than they could.

It's also time to walk away from Trump/America. The EU is working on their own OS , away from Microsoft who quit access to the mailserver of the International Court. The US is all terror and distraction. Gorget the US, go EU!

Two important questions remain: 1. Weapon sales (do we see more of "deals" like f-16 parts, or more of blockage, like with AU Abrams) 2. Sanctions on russia
