You are always looking for excuses to attack Democrats

Well I never have to look very hard. But you should know that I am a 4th generation democrat, I supported the party most of my life even before I could vote because that’s what good democrats do. I worked to get democrats elected for 15 years (work I was paid for).

And now you are a volunteer for Republican marketing. Well, ok.

Still a democrat, still Berning. Still waiting for my party to craft a clear and compelling vision of what they will do for average Americans, how they will fix the real issues facing most people (income inequality, universal healthcare & childcare, inflation, affordable higher education…)

Bernie is not a Democrat and he has done huge damage to Democrats with his racist lies. Democrats have a clear vision and have articulated it. Maybe your media diet has too many artificial flavorings.

What was I thinking? Of course the democrats should just keep doing exactly what they have been doing, i mean, look how good it has worked out so far…

What was I thinking, repeating lies about rigged elections (i.e. lost primaries) and conflating "working class" with "white people" is such a devastatingly good strategy that has led to so many progressive wins, that it would be crazy not to double down. Instead of "Bernie of Bust" we got "Bust".

and there is still three years before things get into swing, so perhaps, like Obama on marriage, Pete may change his views. 100-% orthodoxy (and *who* decides what is "pure") is why the Democrats will not win, since parts of the whole are too rigid, yet bitch and bitch about MAGA orthodoxy.

They won't. The old school has a death grip on the party and they make no room for newcomers.

This is my concern. They need to step out of the way. It’s time to move on to the next generation.
