Pupdate: Sorry to leave y'all hanging. I've been waiting to hear some news. So: the spaniel is doing well. She's still at the vet. They drained a bunch of fluid out of her chest and are waiting to see if it starts to accumulate again. They're going to call me this afternoon with a further update.
