The World Cup is historically the most corrupt competition in football, if not every sport (though the olympics puts in a good shout). From ‘bidding’ to corrupt decisions (French keeper decapitated, S. Korea/Japan, etc. etc. ad nausium). I’m pleased that I boycotted the last blood-stained wankfest.
