I want to go to there! Also - does it look like they use their feet differently when they swim and when they walk??
Where is this? And yeah, their swim gait seems different. The two front... er... flippers(?) are in sync in water and alternating when they walk.
Flippers? Feet? Feeters?
"On land, the platypus has a reptilian gait because its legs are on the sides of the body, rather than underneath. The white spots on the fur under its eyes make it look like its eyes are open underwater, but they’re not." animals.sandiegozoo.org/animals/plat....
