I helped a guy (over the phone) that was super nice. He came to one of my talks sporting a MAGA hat. It was tough, but I blocked out the visual & it was fine. This was pre election tho, times not quite as dire as today.

I would love to say no, but I hire based on skills, eagerness to learn, and willingness to be on-call. It is what it is.
