It’s come up a couple of times after putting my latest video out there. Why was the TARDIS porch erected (at least according to the floor plans) and was it visible on screen? Buggered if I know the answer to that one!

Given that Hartnell wasn't in the film scenes, did they have a close-up of him at the doorway, going through?

That telecine was scripted to have more dialogue for Ben and Polly. The weird thing is, to my ear their dialogue doesn’t sound like it’s on film. Mad out there idea. Film of them crossing to the TARDIS in the snow. Close up of them hammering on the “door” in the studio then cut to regen scene?

The missing few seconds could also be B&P coming through the fake doors from the outside.

There’s that. But they play the TARDIS door effect in twice which I take to be him letting them in and then closing the doors. If someone can find the episode I’ll be glad to be proved wrong!

That makes sense as there is dialog spoken by them, but they aren't fully seen.

Obviously I don't know so not speaking from any position of authority here but my common sense head would ask, why bother putting it up at all if it wasn't going to be seen on screen?
