1:2 I’m shocked no one (that’s in my feed) is talking about sequestration and how pasignthe bill will trigger this, unless Congress (which they won’t) steps in to wave it. - Pass large tax cuts → create huge deficits.

2:2 - Trigger sequestration → force cuts to what can be cut automatically (Medicare provider payments, farm subsidies, some student aid, etc.). - Claim “We’re out of options, the debt is too big!” → justify future direct votes to cut even the currently protected programs.
