what this administration did to that institute was so blatantly criminal and barbaric, it still takes my breath away.

All this sounds so vindictive, like petulant semi adults having meltdowns because of perceived injustices. In the UK I would liken it to footy hooligans going on the rampage because they either lost (petulant) or won (showing off how hard they are).
They are courageously trying, but most staff still furloughed. No money.
Shouldn’t this function be a part of the Department of State? It’s congressional funded but not part of the government.
Sad that they had to fight so hard and now rebuild to get back to where they were, but glad they’ve prevailed. I hope they get their money back soon!
