When my dad died 20 years ago, the Post did obits for a longtime DC residents. He had a fascinating life so the paper ran a long obit. When my mom died in November, they said they only do obits for famous people.We had to pay for a few little inches with a photo and they charged a goddamn fortune.

I think Tom Lehrer would say that political satire became even more dead when Bezos took over the Washington Post.
Human Sexual Response was one of the hottest bands in 1980's Boston. At her annual Christmas parties, Casey Cameron, a singer in the group, used to perform show-tune duets with Leher. I got invited a few times, but never went. Wish I had.

While fixing that section would be nice, it won't cover for the fact that Bezos is a man angling for government contracts and mostly willing to do whatever Trump would like. That project needs to fail and fail spectacularly.
