I guess Mitch McConnell, who did not vote to convict Trump in 2021, and said with cold fury that the justice system would hold him accountable, is fine now with January 6 and Bove, who has been firing and punishing DOJ lawyers who worked on J6 cases.

In defense of Republicans, they won majorities in both legislative chambers, won the presidency in 2016, an election that decided a SCOTUS majority, and won the popular vote for president in 2024 by millions of votes. They should get everything they want. I am 100% in favor of electoral consequences
