Ending slavery was a success we should be proud of and celebrate. But we’re still waiting for a proper Reconstruction.
It’s depressing only if you’re a white supremacist who hates racial & ethnic diversity, hates to see people you want so badly to be inferior to you, honored and recognized. Everyone else is inspired by the impressive stories of overcoming & progress towards equal justice in the US.
He's the failure, period.
